I spend too much time on the net, and most of that time is sitting in front of the monitor with a blank look on my face while watching videos. Not porn ones, well not at work anyways. That doesn't matter, what matters is that I like all the videos here. I picked them myself, and just because I like them doesn't mean you will. I mean I hope you do, but you might not. So be warned, even if you don't like these videos we can still be friends. Oh yeah and some of them have swearing and stuff so I guess discretion is advised.
Canada Day a Week too Late
Well last week was home to the Canada Day long weekend. And by long weekend I mean confused people not knowing whther to take off Monday and have a four day weekend or people not taking Monday off and going to work for one day, then getting a day off only to return for three days.
Very confusing stuff. Either way I was working very early on Canada Day and spent my time browsing the internet watching videos of all the crap they used to throw on Canadian TV many days back. Things we all watched, like Hinterland Who's Who.
Then there was always Old School Mr Dress Up. The only man that could have something in his house called a tickle trunk and it in no way seemed creeepy.
Who couldn't watch The Friendly Giant and not want their own talking rooster and giraffe? No one! That's who!
Plus who didn't want to do the uber awesome "Log Driver's Waltz"?
Now before I let you go I couldn't not play some of those super fun "Part of our Heritage" things they used to run on the CBC. My favourite has always been the one with that dorky ginger kid from every CTV show in the nineties, "I'm Patrick. Patrick O'Neil" So funny!
It seems to be though, the most popular one with the listeners was the "Burnt Toast" one. I smell burnt . . . awesome?
